Koh Samui’s sunny side
Posted by admin on August 24th, 2008 filed in Spas and massage, Tourist tipsPositioned on a peaceful bay on Samui’s southern coast, 25 miles from the airport and just a 15-minute drive from the gorgeous Lamai Beach, the well-established Coconut Villa Resort and Spa is set amidst natural beauty.
This establishments, which boasts 48 ocean-and pool-view guestrooms in two recently built two-floor constructions along with seven refurbished villa accommodations, offers the holidaymaker stunning sunsets and sunrises in addition to a spectacular view of the nearby Koh Matsum and Koh Tan islands.
At 5am on the first morning, I drag myself out of a very comfy bed and stroll through the darkness to the direction of Thong Thanote Beach where I sit for a while on the sand and shoot some pictures as the mesmerising sun rises slowly from the ocean and illuminates the morning sky.
In the evening, just before 6:30, I am driven to the nearby situated Pang Ka Bay for experiencing the majestic sunset. I can stroll along the beach because the tide is out and observe the locals digging up the shellfish before finding the most ideal spot to perch. Fortunately my digital camera catches the brightly coloured sun as the fascinating ball of fire sets slowly in a blood red sky. It is really an unforgettable sight. Koh Samui hotels and resorts
