Take a trip to Hin Lat waterfall

Hin Lat waterfall is one of the beautiful natural attractions on Koh Samui. This place is worth dragging yourself away from the beaches for just a few hours to enjoy the pristine environment around this remarkable waterfall. Hin Lat waterfall is not so far from Lipanoi Beach and the main town on Koh Samui called Nathon.

It is no problem at all for tourists to get to Hin Lat waterfall because the road to the falls is so well signposted. So, you could even drive yourself if you wanted to hire a motorbike and go for a drive out there.

There is a small car park when you arrive at the entrance to Hin Lat waterfall. From here there is a narrow walking path that is incredibly secluded. The walk to the waterfall itself actually takes a bit of time, but the scenery along the way is so good that this is no problem at all. In fact, one of the most enjoyable things about visiting Hin Lat waterfall is that it is so secluded that you almost feel like you’re alone in the world. It really is a great place to come and reflect on life for just a moment.

If you are someone who plans to come here to relax and reflect, then I would recommend you plan this reflection time for a weekday, as the falls can become quite busy with Thai tourists on weekends. Nevertheless, even if you can only make it on a weekend, this waterfall is a great way to escape the hordes of tourists that line Koh Samui’s beach every day.
