Soak up the sun on Choeng Mon Beach

Choeng Mon Beach is one of the many great beaches on Koh Samui that entice visitors throughout the year with its crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand. Choeng Mon Beach is probably just a little bit more upmarket these days as there are a number of five star resorts and hotels around the beach area now.

Choeng Mon is not the most vibrant and liveliest of beaches in terms of nightlife, but this is actually one of its best features. If you want to escape the crowds from the other more popular and energetic beaches, then Choeng Mon could be just the place that you’re looking for. There is much more space here to stretch out in the sun and laze the day away, maybe with the occasional massage and fruit juice to provide some variety occasionally!

Choeng Mon beach is touristy enough to make the Thai food relatively mild. So don’t come here if you’re looking for the real authentic local experience. This place tends to be popular with European tourists, and the nature of the restaurants and bars that you find along Choeng Mon Beach certainly reflects this trend.

Choeng Mon is an excellent place to go if you’re travelling with a family. The resorts around Choeng Mon have all kinds of facilities and are very family-friendly. The pools area a great place to relax with the kids, and a number of entertainment options are provided by each resort as well.

So if you’re looking for something just a little but different to the usual experiences on Koh Samui, why not give Choeng Mon Beach a try, as I’m sure you’re not going to be disappointed.
