Check Out Samui Snake Farm

Samui snake farm is worth a visit if you don’t have a snake phobia, as it will blow your mind away because of the way they play them. This snake farm is located in the southwest corner of Koh Samui and twice a day, a visitor can be entertained by the only Snake shows in Samui and this the only snake farm that took part in Guinness world book of records on the “Longest stay with Scorpions and the longest stay with Centipedes”.

So when you come here, you are going to see snakes but you are also going to meet the world record holders, the Scorpion Queen and the King Centipedes. This is the only place on the island where you going to see a king cobra being held by bare hands for a spine tingling look, another of resident of Samui snake farm. A giant Python which will amaze you with it’s beauty and we can only advice to look but not to touch.

It is estimated that there are 170 types of snakes in Thailand but only 50 species are venomous and when you come to this farm, you will see many species of snakes being presented to the audience by snake charmers who handle them for the two shows that take place on this farm a day, and if you are lucky, you will also see a cock fight which takes place on this farm.

This is a must–see for a family while in Thailand and for 300 Baht, you will enjoy one of the two shows that take place of this farm, the first show begins at 11.00am and the second one starts at 2.00pm and if you want to go this farm, just ask from your guest house or hotel for transport and information.
