Koh Samui’s own bungee jumping venue at Chaweng Beach allows visitors looking for a high-adrenalin, white-knuckle thrill to jump 170 feet from a crane with nothing but a piece of elastic to break their falls. Samui’s version of this popular pastime sees daredevils plunge towards a pool, instead of down into a deep gorge towards unforgiving rocks.

Those who choose to put an extra bit of give in the elastic can break the surface of the water before reverse gravity snatches them back again. The view from the top before leaping is one of Samui’s finest with Chaweng Beach, the Gulf of Thailand’s sparkling seas and the Reggae Pub all clearly visible. Samui Bungy’s website permits jumpers as well as prospective ones to post photographs of the death defying leaps and enter a blog.

The website also has a link at jump@samuibungy.com that lets people book their own jump. Those jumping in the late afternoon can take advantage of the onsite bar before heading on over to Soi Reggae to carry on with the festivities. After taking part in such an exciting activity there is a guaranteed topic of conversation for the evening.

Koh Samui Island is a major destination in Thailand because of the many activities on the island. And of recently, bowling has been added to the many activities that already exist on the island.

The Bowling place on the island is located at Tesco Lotus, 1/7 Moo6, Tambon Bo Phut, and it certainly offers Tenpin bowling, Major Bowl and it is easy to find as it is centrally located, right next to the cinema in Tesco Lotus in Chaweng.

The Koh Samui Bowling offers eight lines, with two of them being thoughtfully designed for children by having side gutters blocked off and if there is a party of four, wanting to use more than one lane, it is advisable to book in advance.

Bowling shoes can be rented for 40 baht a session and also socks can be rented, though most of people prefer bringing their own socks and remember, Thai feet are usually smaller than western equivalent. So tom avoid disappointment, remember to bring your pair of socks, though they have shoes in all sizes!

The prices varies depending on what time of the day it is, during the evening, it will set you back 100Baht per person per game, while during day time, it is a lot less than that.

So plan an evening of fun in Koh Samui bowling and after, there is a very nice restaurant where you can have your dinner and also private karaoke rooms, if you think you have the talent, you give it a try, before heading out for the nightlife.

On the island of Samui you can never be short of activities, as they plenty of adreline adventure you can take part in while you are touring the island and one them is mountain biking. Mountain bikes can be hired at many places on the Island, they may not be the brand names you are expecting but the local brands they have, will do just fine.

If you really want to have an endurance test, you can circular the route around the island, allow four to five hours and always make sure you are back before dark as the island’s rounds are hair-raising and terrifying if you are on a bike. The most arduous part of the journey is heading south from Chaweng as they are steep hills between Chaweng and Lamai, then the road will be relatively flat until you get to the north of Nathon and then longer hills lay in wait.

The four hour Thailand bicycle bikes tours for 2000baht is best way to go as the red Bicycle mountain bike adventures of Koh Samui provides the best mountain tours through local villages and thick jungle trails, variable terrain heading inland the island.

But if you just hired a mountain bike on your own, you can simply head down the road next to Angela’s bakery where you find some challenging technical downhills and up through the coconut groves and farmland, you will come to Mae Nam valley area which is one of the best spot and don’t forget a compass.

The road leading up Wanoen waterfall, south of Nathon, is the best real suspension- testing for the exceptionary fit as the the road deteriorates at a rapid rate as you climb to the 205m high point and by the end, you will be dodging boulders, negotiating slippery mud and cycling up the age of ravine, the views from the top and chance to swim will be worth it as a break of sweat is guaranteed.

Every year Thousands of tourists go Koh Samui island because of the hundred or more things to do on the island and some of them involve the beauties of nature which are fun particularly for those how love nature and water sports. Now the island is a Go Karting track, which one has to experience while on the island.

The Koh Samui go karting track is located not very far outside Chaweng, it is just past the ring road traffic lights in Bo Phut and it is an excellent fun for both children and adults.

The track itself is quiet big and the layout allows for a varied and challenging circuit, where the sheer thrill of close to the ground speed is combined with the necessary skills to remain on the track. There is a choice of carts available ranging from “fun”(only frightens a bit) to “Pro” (between the two extremes) and the fastest one,” speed” (scares the hell out of you- 100km (KPH 3 inches off the ground will do this)

The prices charged vary accordingly: the pricey sum of 300baht will buy 12 minutes of basic fun and the top of the range “Pro” carts will separate you from 400baht for the same amount of time.

There is a discount pricing-system in place, pay for 20 minutes up front and you will be discounted on the overall price per minute. (However this doesn’t apply after you have paid the 12 minutes and discover you having too much of a good time to come off the track)

Safety is a prime consideration and the track is well padded, the karts have solid guards and helmets are compulsory and children are only permitted to use the basic karts.

So the next time you are on Koh Samui island, why don’t you and your family, try out Go Karting, the experience, will never be forgotten.

You can never be bored on the Koh Samui island because thet are so many activities and if you love sport, go and this Thailand’s national sport which the world’s most demanding contact sports. It takes long and hard training to excel in this sport and discipline, it will be a typical Thai experience for you as it can never be a little brutal.

It will set you back 800-1000baht at the Chaweng stadium for ringside seats and tables. You will see about 10 fights in all and the match is preceded by a wai Khru dance performed by the contestants, these boxers start training at very young age and fit as there is no mercy in this sport and ladies be prepared because it is seedy and most of the tourists who go there, can never go again to see this undiluted excitement because of how much the contestants get hurt.

This is one of the most dangerous martial art sports in the world and many foreign people come to Thailand to be trained in this sport as of recently, it is being played in other countries by only those who are professionals in it but as always, it is better to watch in Thailand because these are the masters of this sport and when you are in Koh Samui, don’t forget to this daunting experience.

The shows usually take place on Mondays and Fridays, but sometimes on Saturdays as well. The starts at 9.00pm and goes on for atleast 3-4 hours where live commentors will give you detailed account of the game and music will be played in the background. The Chaweng is located near the Reggae Bar and tickets can be bought at the studium. If you are visiting Koh Samui, this is the experience, you will never forget.

Koh Samui Island is a fantastic place to be because you can never be short of what to do. Among the many things that one can do on the island, is the mini- golf at the Koh Samui Treasure Island mini-golf.

The Treasure Island miniature golf course is located opposite pizza hut and close to Burger King in Chaweng Beach or 20 meters from Beach Road and the Mexican Restaurant.

For those seeking something a little less competitive and more fun, Koh Samui Treasure Island golf is a good place for families to have fun. This is eighteen holes and is traditional in that, various holes feature animal challenges such as a crocodile, whale and Tiger.

This is a very good place for families as they can relax, enjoy a few rounds of mini golf and then they can enjoy a nice meal in a very relaxing atmosphere of the Mexican restaurant and after that, you can go and cool off from the golf at the Chaweng Beach.

So, if you are family and think you have done everything else that the Island has to offer for families and haven’t been to Koh Samui Treasure Island mini-golf, you should make a plan to go as you will have a fantastic time playing a less competitive game.

Samui is one of the major tourist destinations in Thailand because it’s tourism attractions and the nightlife, Samui has sophiscated gourmet restaurants ranging up to the full moon parties. You name it, they have it from Discos, clubs, music venues, bar beers, classical Thai dancing, mud wrestling and even weekly Thai lady wrestling.

Samui is divided into various areas where you can go at night and have fun.

- Chaweng is Koh Samui’s party central, all along the beach road, you will see Sois ( small streets leading off into warrens of bars and pubs of varying appeal and popularity. The epic- center of all this hedonism and fun is undoubtly Soi, Green Mango in the central Chaweng, with soi Reggae by the lake which is also very famous.

- Lamai Beach is slightly smaller than Chaweng beach and slightly older but has everything from the ubiquitous beer bars, discos, music venues with lots of foot stomping, classical Thai dancing, mud wrestling and of course, weekly Thai lady boxing.

- There is also Maenam which is a romantic for couples with quiet evening where your loved one is bound to be more than sipping cocktails as he or she will have watch the sunset and despite what many will tell you, this coastal village has more on offer. The nightlife, than meets the eye.

- Koh Samui, has more to offer during nighttime and it is absolutely up to you to decide where or what to do, for example, the Island offers Lady-Boy cabaret shows which may not be everyone’s fancy, but for those who enjoy Thailand’s Katoey’s because they are really professional and very famous, they love these shows, so try it, you will never believe what they pull off.

Koh Samui has many tourist activities to choose from, you can be bored while you are holidaying on the island. Samui bungee jumping is becoming a popular activity for adrenaline junkies and regular people alike. Now under new management, Samui bungee jump is not for the weak of bowels as it takes you 50 meters high above a 5 inches deep plunge pool in the heart of Chaweng and you can preserve the whole event on a video if you like.

Bungee jumping is an activity for those who are strong at heart to definitely try it out and yes, it is on the island of Koh Samui located near the Reggae pub which is located off the Chaweng beach road and it is here that you will get to experience the thrill of being elevated about 50 meters above the ground into the air and after this, you will be launched towards the swimming pool beneath, to end your jump in a climax.

If this is your first bungee jump, it will be rather strenuous and it is with this effort that will help you to overcome your fears and make your jump really monumental in your bungee jumping experience. This is because, once you overcome this initial fear, there are no bounds on bungee jumping. In fact, there are some people who get addicted to bungee jumping for the adrenaline bursts it gives them

So if you want to overcome your fear of bungee jumping or in fact any fear, just make a trip to Koh Samui island because you will not regret it as apart from bungee jumping, the island offers many adrenaline activities and of course, a fantastic nightlife.

The island of Samui has a lot to offer and if you are interested in diving, one of the best places to do it is, on Koh Samui Island. On Samui, you will find some of the best diving sites in the Southeast Asia region and the largest concentration of diving operators are found at Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui Island.

From Koh Samui, you can go a daily trip to Angthong national Marine Park and popular sail rock where you will spot Whale sharks, impressive fish life and the water is rich in colorful corals.

If you are diligent and have plenty of time, it doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner as you can study intensively and receive diving qualifications such as Scuba diver, Adventure diver, Advanced diver, Dive master or a Rescue diver. To find the school with experienced instructors, all you have to do is the search the web for PADI websites in Koh Samui.

If you don’t have a lot of time, you can just join the short-term courses, just to get the basics and you can just rent all the equipment that you need or buy some of it at the school or scuba diving shops in Samui, if you think that you will need them at some point.

The climate is generally good in Thailand for scuba diving and training, you can plan to visit the island all year around though it might be a little windy in October to December and the visibility isn’t very good then, but for the rest of the year, this is the island for dive lovers.
